I received the October Birchbox earlier this month but didn't get around to writing a blogpost because I have moved house so this month has been a super busy one! Better late than never though! I haven't even got around to trying out the products properly either!
This months Birchbox is called Stylist, It was put together by Joanna McGary. This box contains one full size item and three Birchbox exclusives.
The first item is a full size fruit pigmented lip glaze, which retails at £19. This lip glaze is formulated with avocado and cocoa butters to nourish, rich fruit pigments leaves a burst of matte-finish and comfortable colour. I love the colour of this lip glaze and I think I will get a lot of wear out of this product this autumn.
Bioderma sample, the full size bottle retails at £10.20. Bioderma is the original Parisian micellar water which is used for fast effective cleansing. So many people rave about this product, but most people including myself use Garniers micellar cleansing water as it is a cheaper alternative. I haven't ever used Bioderma so I am looking forward to trying it out and comparing it to Garniers micellar water.
PARLOUR by Jeff Chastain, moisturising sea salt spray sample, the fill size bottle retails at £17. This spray is supposed to give you light-as-air volume and texture- without a crispy finish. It is also free from sulfates and parabens which is much better for you hair. you can apply this on either damp or styled hair. I am really looking forward to trying this out because I have thin fine hair which can look rather limp at times so I am hoping this product will live up to expectations.
Rituals Yogi flow foaming shower gel sample, this retails at £8.50. This gel will instantly turn into foam when in contact to water it also has a strong fresh rose scented smell to it which I love. There isn't much I can say about a body wash other than I like the smell so Ii am looking forward to using it.
When Travelmate sheet mask retails at £25 for a pack of four. I love face-masks, I have a growing collection but I have never used a sheetmask but have always wanted to. This mask is supposed to lock in moisture to you face which is why it would be perfect for travelling as the name states. I moved house this month so I have been neglecting my skin care regime so this will be perfect to revive my skin.
No.7 Signature for her, fresh laundry retails at £60. This perfume smells amazing! it contains rose geranium & creamy white flowers combined with musk to create an uplifting, wearable scent. I have a huge obsession with perfume and Ii think I own around 20-25 bottles (I know excessive). I have been loving warm and musky scents recently as they are perfect for this time of year. I think I will be buying the full size bottle sometime soon!
So there you have it, Octobers Birchbox.
