My morning routines tend to be slightly different depending on the time of year so I thought I would share with you my winter routine as I love to read these types of posts.
During the week I normally wake up at around 8:00am, I will then spend about 15 to 20 minutes on my social media like Instagram and Twitter so wake myself up more before getting out of bed. Fell free to follow me to keep up to date with me :) I will normally follow back.
I will then put the kettle on before brushing my teeth, I use the Arm & Hammer extreme whitening toothpaste. There isn't much I can say about toothpaste other than I like it haha!
I will then make myself a cup of tea, and some breakfast normally I will have oats with some fruit on top or I will have poached eggs on toast, It just depends on how hungry I feel.
I don't have a shower every morning but if I do I like to use the Aussie Mega Shampoo and the Herbal Essences conditioner. I don't really pay much attention to what shampoos and conditioner do for the hair as I haven't ever had a problem with my hair I have never died it and rarely use heat on it so it is in really good condition luckily
I will then wash my face with whatever face wash I am using at the time. Recently I have been using the Witch pore minimising gel wash. I am really liking this product and I think I would use it again once I run out. My large pores are a huge skin problem I cannot stand so anything to reduce the look of my pores is always loved by me.
After washing my face I will tone it, I am using the lush eau roma toner water at the moment and I am loving it so much! It is by far the best toner I have used! It not only removes any excess dirt from my face but it also brightens my skin as well.
After washing my face I will then moisturise using this rose sensitive moisturiser. During the winter my skin can get really dry so a good coating of moisturiser is always a must in the mornings. What I love about this moisturiser is the it soaks well into the skin leaving it feeling smooth but not greasy as a lot of moisturisers do.
I will then go on to do my makeup but if I show you how I do it in this post it will be never ending! What is your favourite breakfast to eat on the cold winter mornings?
