Trilogy Cleansing Balm Review / Blogmas day 3

Thursday, 3 December 2015

Hi Loves!

I received this cleansing balm in my November Birchbox. I was so excited when I saw this was in my box as i had never tried out a cleansing balm before. I'm sure you are all aware that cleansing balms have been so raved about in the beauty community, especially the Emma Hardie cleansing balm. I have wanted to try out the Emma Hardie cleansing balm for such a long time but I didn't want to spend so much on a type of product i want sure I would like so I was so excited to revive this sample in my Birchbox.

I have really enjoyed using this cleansing balm for removing my makeup. I take a small amount on the tip of my finger and rub them together to warm up the product, I then take off my makeup starting with my eyes. Sometimes If I am wearing a lot of makeup I will have to cleanse twice.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like using cleansing balms as they look greasy but after rinsing this one it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or oily at all it leaves it feeling really clean and soft. One thing I don't particularly like about this product is the scent, I can't describe what it is, all I know is I don't like it. Having said that it isn't the be all and end all, it isn't terrible it's just not great haha!

I don't know if I would buy the full size of this product as I don't have anything to compare it to. What I do know is once I have used all of this product I will definitely buy some different cleansing balms to try out!

What cleansing balms would you recommend?

  1. This sounds lovely, I really like Trilogy's Rosehip oil! I love the Emma Hardie cleansing balm but I agree, it's expensive!
