My Top 5 Perfumes

Friday, 29 April 2016

Hiya Lovelies,

Today I thought I would share with you my favourite perfumes. I love perfumes so much, perfume was the first beauty related item I started to collect. I have a rather decent collection now which I love, but if I'm honest there will always be room for more perfumes to be added (whoops).

Gucci Rush £55: This has got to be my all time favourite perfume. This was the first perfume Scott ever bought me when we had first got together. He bought it in the airport coming back from his lads holiday. Not only was this the first present he had ever bought me but it was also the first high end perfume I had ever owned. This perfume is such pretty scent and it reminds me so much of those new relationship giddy feelings at the start of mine and Scotts relationship almost 3 years ago!

Top Notes: African freesia Petals, peach & Californian Gardenia.
Middle Notes: Coriander, Damask Rose & Jasmine
Base Notes: Natural Vanilla, Patchouli & Vetiver

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle £68: I bought this perfume just after christmas when I smelled it on my sisters friend. I loved how sweet yet musky it smelled and I knew as soon as I did I had to buy it. The price did put me off for a while but eventually I couldn't resist. This perfume has such a subtle sexy vibe to it. Everything about it is luxury the smell is very rich and expensive even the feel of the bottle is luxury. Definitely a unique staple in my perfume collection, I have used almost half of this bottle and I am now rationing myself as it's so expensive!

Top Notes: Orange, Mandarin Orange, Orange Blossom & Bergamot
Middle Notes: Mimosa, Jasmine, Turkish Rose & Ylang-Ylang
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Opoponax, Vanilla, vetiver & White Musk

Beyonce Heat Rush £36: I am such a big fan of the Beyonce perfumes, I'm pretty sure I have almost all of the perfumes she has released. Heat Rush Is probably my favourite out of her scents as it is so sweet. I love sweet scents as I find them so easy to wear and are so feminine. This is probably my more go to everyday perfume if I can't decide what perfume to wear for the day. The only negative thing about the Beyonce perfumes is that they don't last that long but for the price of them its to be expected. As you can probably see this perfume is so loved that the bottom of it is rather battered from being shoved in my bag for so long.

Top Notes: Blood Orange, Cherry & Passionfruit
Middle Notes: Orchid, Hibiscus & Mango Blossom
Base Notes: Teak Wood, Amber & Musk

YSL Black Opium £66: This is such an amazing perfume! Again I bought this because of my sisters friend. She had a sample of it, didn't like it so she gave it to me. The sample lasted two seconds and I ended up ordering the 50ml bottle. As you can see there isn't much left at all (which I'm so upset about). This is my go to night time perfume, this reminds me so much of getting ready for a night out with my sister, Scott and others. Whoever I wear this it makes me feel so happy and up for drinking haha! It is such a warm and sultry scent which is perfect for a night out.

Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom & Pear
Middle Notes: Coffee & Jasmine
Base Notes: Vanilla, Patchouli & Cedar

Ghost Deep Night £46: This is another one of my go to night out perfumes it has such a warm fruity smell which isn't too sweet. Again, like Black Opium it has such a sultry feel to it which is perfect for a night out. The only down fall compared to Black Opium is it doesn't last as long and the bottle is too bulky to be carried in my clutch but other than that I love it. I prefer to use this on during the summer as it has a much lighter scent to it.

Top Notes: Night Blooming Cereus & Rose
Middle Notes: Peach, apricot & Woodsy notes
Base Notes: Musk, Amber & Vanilla
